Q: What is the lead time from order to delivery/installation?
A: Typically there is a 4 week lead time from the time the order and the deposit is made to the shelter(s) delivery
Q: How are Stable Shelters fixed down to the ground?
A: Our shelters are securely fastened to the ground using 10 x 800mm long waratas. They are screwed to the skids using 100mm long bugel screws, then capped with yellow caps to prevent injury to animals. We also offer the option of ground screws for extra high wind zones, get in touch to discuss this for shelters in extra windy location.
Q: How do I relocate my shelter around my property?
A: Stable Shelters are built on skids, each skid has 30mm holes drilled at each end enabling a tow rope to be connected. Unscrew the waratas, connect the tow rope, and tow the shelter to its desired new location. For frequent relocation, we can supply add an aditional diagonal brace to the skids to keep the structure square.
Q: What type of vehicle is required to tow a shelter?
A: A small and medium shelter can be towed with a SUV, a large shelter can be towed using a 4x4 ute, and a XL shelter requires a tractor.
